Eric Masefield

Eric Masefield is renowned for his cheerfully evocative Camber Sands, Winchelsea and Pett beach scenes. His enchanting paintings are reminiscent of childhood innocence and cherished memories of happy family times. He paints in oil with a disciplined palette, choosing mainly earth tones. Using few colours, Eric concentrates on composition and body language to convey the relationships between his subjects.

Eric is a long established and regular exhibitor at prominent London galleries, as well as Lewes, Rochester, Rye, Eastbourne and Milwaukee. His paintings form part of private collections in many parts of the world.
