Jane Ford

Jane Ford was a corporate high-flyer in her former career as Head of Design for Minolta and Ricoh. Now proving hugely successful in her second career as an artist, she was commissioned to produce 200 paintings by a major UK corporation and now exhibits throughout the UK and in the US.

Hailing from Staffordshire, Jane trained for eight years both at art school and as an illustrator. Now living in the marshes of Kent, she takes the wildlife surrounding the studio as her models. She paints British wildlife portrayed in the raw, using ink and a secret ingredient, alongside oil studies of birds and animals of Britain in quirky, obscure tableaux. An exhibitor with Sunday Times watercolour competition, Jane has also exhibited with The Royal Society of British Artists as well as many galleries throughout the country, Venice and the Far East.
